Jan. 20, 2009 – Paula Boria Ramos, also known as "Paulita," of Marley Project has died. She was 92 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Zulma, Carmen and Maria Betancourt, Nydia Mercedes Ramos and Monsita Diaz; sons: Pedro and Raphael Betancourt, and Pablo Maldonado; grandchildren: Jose Garces Jr., Pablo Maldonado Jr., Mayra Maldonado, Nydia, Raphael and Daniel; and great-grandchildren: Rosalinda and Asani, Nathaniel and Mariah. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Andrea Jasmine Smith; son-in-law, Jose Garces; and special friends: Carmen Lugo, Miguelina Rivera and family, Kiwanda John, Christina Torres, Juana Carballo, Hayde Pichardo, Nelle DeJesus, Aida and Alfred Christopher, Leonor Gumbs, Carmen Diaz, Iris Santiago, Fred Michael, and Floyd Michael and family; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 1 p.m. and a funeral service at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
