Aurora A. Liburd Dies in Brooklyn, N.Y.

March 25, 2008 – Aurora A. Liburd died on Thursday, March 20, in Brooklyn, New York. She was 93 years old.
She is survived by her children: Agneta Thompson, Eileen Phillips, Murreline Bartlett, Cynthia Francis, Yvonne Rawlins, Ketruda, Donald, St. Clair and Myron Liburd; grandchildren: Eugene and Michael Phillips, Hubert, Murreline and Ralph Jr. Bartlett, Darren, Owen Jr. and Althea Francis, Jessica, Dawn, Darren, Tamica Rawlins, Christine, Arlene, Gail and Franky Figueroa, Latisha Wright, Donald Jr. and Jada Liburd, Lindris, Lana St. Clair Jr. and Mikayla Liburd, Louise, Sheila, Eren, Melvin, Margaret, Oslyn, Selvin, Johnson, Kay, Katie and Judy Hanley. She is also survived by 43 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; sons-in-law: Avril Phillip, Ralph Bartlett Sr., Owen Francis Sr., Victor Figuerora and Gilbert Rawlins Sr.; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Liburd; special friends: Daslyne, Chantel, Ermine, Mr. and Mrs. Harris, Cheryl McIntosh, Pat Joseph, Lou Todman and Vincent James; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, March 28, at St. John's Anglican Church, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
