March 20, 2007 – William Ericson Francis, better known as "Willy Lennie," died on March 15, at his residence in Anna's Retreat, at age 92.
He is survived by sons: Gerald Phipps Jr., and Andre, Adrian and Winston Francis; and daughter, Linda A. Francis. He is also survived by brother, Ralph Frances; sisters: Bernice Gifft and Aldriane Meyers; 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, March 23, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place from 7:45-8:15 a.m., on Saturday, March 24, at Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by a funeral service at 8:15 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
