What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

March 20, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 25. This Sunday we will feature music by Lucinda Williams, Last Train Home, Ruthie Foster, Elton John, Tracy Chapman, Dave Gerard and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "West" by Lucinda Williams. Lucinda is one of the strongest songwriters in the Americana field and delivers another fine CD with great new songs.
The Indie Spotlight CD is the latest from Last Train Home. Their latest release is titled "Last Good Kiss." Last Train Home has played here in the Virgin Islands in past years and while they won't be playing in the territory this season, they have said they hope to return soon. Their new CD is another fine roots rock effort.
We play new music from Jerry Lee Lewis, Tanglefoot, Ruthie Foster and more.
We include music from Terri Hendrix, Dwight Yoakam, the Who, Willie Big Eyes Smith and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Nick Lowe, Tracy Chapman, and Jeff Healey, and we remember Buck Owens and blues man Mighty Joe Young on the anniversary of their deaths.
We also include music from Dave Gerard, who returns for a V.I. tour from March 16 to March 25.
We give you a chance to win a new CD release from Ricky Skaggs and Bruce Hornsby, and a new Blues Award nominated CD from James Hunter.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
