Peter Palm, 46, Dies

Oct. 21, 2004 – Peter Edward Palm, 46, of St Thomas, died Oct. 20.
A very special man. One worthy of more than passing notice at his untimely death.
Born in White Bear Lake, Minn., Peter proved himself a quality person early on. An avid sportsman, sailor, windsurfer, marathon runner, golfer, restaurant owner and great friend. Perhaps he should be best remembered for how he loved his wife Holly and two sons Chase and Preston.
Peter shared his time and talents with dozens of friends and was always quick with a smile. Peter outwardly was a happy man, upbeat and a gentleman with a great sense of humor.
Peter leaves his loving wife Holly, who provided Peter with a very happy, caring and wonderful life; and his two sons Chase and Preston. Other survivors include his father Edward Palm; mother and step-father Peggy and Dick Palen; grandmother Rose Sommerdorf; sister Pam (Tom)Rasmussen, Stillwater, Minn.; sister Susie (Ted) Meads, Tonka Bay, Minn.; brother Tim (Katie) St. Paul, Minn.; nieces and nephews Blake, Alex, Laine, Annie, Cole, Max and Tristan.
We are all sure that Peter is looking down from heaven…very happy and at peace.
A memorial service will be held at the St. Thomas Yacht Club on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m. A memorial service will also be scheduled in White Bear Lake, Minn., in the future.
