'GRAFFITI STREET' IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

"Graffiti Street," the Virgin Islands' premier youth television talk show, will air a six part series every Sunday night at 7 p.m. on WTJX, channel 12.
At the end of the 1999-2000 season the talk show cast visited the island nation of the Dominican Republic, to explore their culture, and show the close ties that have developed between our two islands over the years. This is a series about their exploration and adventure.
The show is a popular thirty minute teen talk show hosted by students from our own community high schools who participate from the St. Thomas and St. Croix studios. Teens talk about issues that confront teens today as well as the ups and downs of growing up. In 1992, "Graffiti Street"won an international Prized Pieces Award for Best Teen Program in the National Black Programming Consortium Competition.
The series also airs on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
