I am writing to agree whole heartedly with the recent letter from St Croix resident Robert Greenough when he says the entire "Senate" must go.
How many more broken promises, botched business deals, and legislative comedies must we endure before saying enough is enough! This so-called government is a joke, the budget deficit is an even bigger joke and the deterioration of services in the Virgin Islands is tragic.
More tragic is the seeming apathy that the voters seem to have when re-electing the same "representatives" over and over again despite their voting records. We need to change this before it is too late!
As a part time resident of St. Croix it makes me so angry that voters seem to overlook what is happening to our beloved island. I would give anything to be able to cast my vote against every one of the current bunch so they could take their fat bank accounts elsewhere and stop
bleeding the Virgin Islands dry.
Please take a long hard look at who you are voting for and ask yourself what they have done for us lately besides line their own pockets at our expense.
