Dear Source:
Wonder who will do the best fish fry or who will give out the best gifts, its a wonderful tradition. but how about a debate on the problems we are facing? why not spend the money for the fish fry for a full add in the source explaining your reasons for running and what you believe you can accomplish, we have an energy crisis, a wapa crisis, a lack of jobs for our youth crisis, and while i love a good fish fry i believe a good senator would be of more use at this time.
St. croix like anyplace else is having to live with poor leadership and poor performance from our elected officials, i will vote for who ever is accountable for what they do, i have some suggestions, divide the senators pay into the same number as legislative sessions and dont pay them unless they attend the whole meeting. publish the results of the senators proposed projects and let the public set the priority for expenditures. make paying bills and collecting taxes mandatory and fair.
on second thought id settle for them just earning there pay by trying there best.
