A unique, new convenience just arrived in St. John, and it doesn't require anything more than sitting down at your computer, picking up your phone or turning on your fax.
Doctor's Choice Pharmacy is now available on the Internet at www/CaribbeanPharmacy.com All you do is write or phone in your prescription by noon, and you can pick it up at Connections in Cruz Bay or Coral Bay after 4:30 p.m.
The new service eliminates the need for any ferry travel to St. Thomas, and you can order other drugstore items as well. Connections Cruz Bay fax number is 776-6902. Their Coral Bay fax is 776-6136. Or you can fax to Doctor's Choice at Wheatley Center at 777-4102 or call you prescription in to Wheatley store at 777-1400 or use the e-mail on the website.
Doctor's Choice accepts most insurance plans, according to Jared Falek, owner.
"We also accept Veteran's Administration prescriptions," he said.
Among the insurance accepted is Government Insurance (PCS), Diversified, WHP and Health Delivery Systems, Falek said.
"Doctor's Choice is very pleased and happy to offer its services to the residents of St. John."
