The U.S. Virgin Islands Congress of Parents, Teachers and Students Association (PTSA) is inviting the public to two Town Hall meetings on “The Status of Education” in the U.S.V.I. in the aftermath of hurricanes Irma and Maria. Panelists from the V.I. Department of Education, the V.I. Board of Education; the American Federation of Teachers; the Legislature’s Committee on Education, Workforce Development and Recreation; and the Office of Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett have been invited to update the public.
The PTSA will also distribute school supplies to the parents of public school students.
