The V.I. Police Department (VIPD) Crime Prevention Bureau will host an East End Community Meeting for residents of Pillsbury Heights, Nazareth and Estate Frydenhoj. The meeting will address crime affecting these areas.
Community and Police Association (CAPA) will host a community meeting. The V.I. Police Department, Crime Prevention, senators, peace clergy and the public are invited to attend. To raise awareness about veganism, the Vegan Society is asking all vegans to wear any vegan/animal rights message T-shirt (button, sticker necklace, etc.) to raise awareness for the rights of animals. There will be a raw vegan potluck held today. The first Saturday of every month is Vegan T-shirt Day!
The Virgin Islands Transfer Centennial Commission will host a free public reception. There will be cultural dancers, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
