In 1962, when I was in seventh grade, and 19 years before the United Nations International Day of Peace was established and held each year since on Sept. 21, I was chosen to make a trip with a busload of similarly aged students from various Binghamton New York city schools to the United Nations in New York City. #visource #usvi #reflections
