The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority would like to advise the public of a scheduled water interruption on St. Thomas on today, Sept. 22, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Contant (Soto Town). The cause of the outage is to repair an eight inch water mainline leak along Harwood Highway/Judy M. Gomez Highway.
There will also be a one lane closure along Harwood Highway from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Customers in the area from Vitran Bus Terminal area to Oriental Bank, including Contant (Soto Town) will be impacted by the water interruption beginning this afternoon.
