Eunice Ursula Hurdle, of Estate Barren Spot, passed away on August 6, 2025. She was 92 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian Claxton and Samuel Claxton; husband, Hubert Hurdle; sisters,ย Selena Hanley, Rosita Claxton, Delores Alford, Imelda Liburd; nephews, Wingrove and Lleweyn Claxton.

She is survived by her children,ย Monica Walters, Patricia (Sylvia) Clifton; grandchildren,ย Tracia & Tithanie Walters, Calicia & Coretta Clifton; great-grandchild, Tiara Walters; adopted daughter,ย Paula Melius; adopted son, Shervin Liddie; adoptedย grandchildren,ย Diyma Harrigan, Heather Armoogan, Devan Christian, John Christian; sons-in-law, Theodore Walters, Calvin Clifton; nieces,ย Myrthlyn Claxton, Laurel Claxton, Leona Claxton, Sonia Claxton, Sandra Claxton, Nicolette Hendrickson, Valerie Claxton, Lavern David, Christina Claxton; nephews,ย Livingston, Terrence Eliotte, Michael Claxton, Wendell Claxton, Edward Claxton, Ira Claxton Jr., Jamison Claxton, Crawford Claxton, Solomon Claxton, great nieces and great nephews too numerous to mention; specialย assistant, Miriam Griffith; close relatives & friends, Bosley Maynar & family, Liewellyn Claxton & family, Yvette Cornwall & family, Norma Barnes & family, Junie Tyrell & family, Ian & Rupert Claxton, Carl Claxton; many other precious family and friends too numerous to mention.

The funeral service will be held on Sept. 20, at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Church. Viewing begins at 9 am, with service starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
