Vincent “Ako” Yearwood Dies

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, great-uncle and neighbor Vincent O. Yearwood known to many as Ako. He transitioned this life on Nov. 25.

He is survived by his mother, Ione Yearwood; sisters: Durita Malone Roumo, Alicia V. Malone (Susie) and Denise E. Malone; nephews and nieces, Halim A. Scatliffe (Blough), Chenise A. Phillip, Rehenia I. Brummell, Audrey L. Malone, Sandra S. Huff-Shahiyd, LaKeisha A. Wade, LaKoi A. Malone; great nieces and great nephews: KeDeya Warrell, Kensi Warrell, Ja Myi Malone, Joshua Shahiyd; special cousins, Leon Warrell, Jr., Leonard Warrell, Linda Warrell, Erminie George; and special uncle, Leon Warrell, Sr.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, Dec. 21, at noon at All Saints Cathedral in Garden Street.
