The family of the late Matthew Wilfred, who was born on the beautiful island of St. Lucia, are saddened to announce his passing on Nov. 11.
He is survived by his daugthers Mecher Mondesir, Moiesha, Mekisha and Yanisha Wilfred; sons Yardley Mondesir, Marlan and Malcolm Wilfred; grandchildren Yahnoema, Yahniyah and I’yahna Cyris; sisters Rose Wilfred and Bernadette Wilfred aka Fina; brothers Sylvester Wilfred, Patrick Wilfred, Reginald Wilfred, Rius Wilfred, and Angus Wilfred; aunts Ulean Marcellin, Mary Wilfred aka Elufar, Raymonise Noel, and Anita “Dodo” Charles; uncles Robert Marcellin, Francois Loveborn Camille.
Wilfred’s special friends include DuPaul, Moses, Charles, Bargan and Anthony, Bisset and Vivan, Carol and husband, Cassius, and family and friends too numerous to mention.
A family and friends viewing will be held at Divine Funeral Services on Nov. 22 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Nov. 25 at Divine Chapel 129 Peter’s Rest.

Interment: Kingshill Cemetery.
