Marie Evelyn Aubain Dies

Marie Evelyn Aubain

Marie Evelyn Aubain died at her home on Tuesday, Sept. 3. She was born on the island of St. Thomas on Feb. 1, 1939.

She is survived by her children: Virginia A. Aubain, Julian L. Aubain and Joann E. Aubain Jno-Pierre; grandsons: Gerald I. Greaux Jr., whom she raised like a son, Ricardo A. Estrill, Michael A. Estrill, Kelly Bruney, Lawrence A. Aubain. Kevin E. Dinnard and J’ovanny A. Jno-Pierre; granddaughters: Chelsea Aubain, Krystle Bruney, Kishma Bruney and Shannel A. Dinnard; granddaughters-in-law: Annise Belleau Estrill, Michelle Estrill and Luz Nieves Hernandez; many great-grandchildren; and other family members too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Celestial Chapel of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Chapel in Frenchtown at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, followed by a mass at 10:30 a.m.

Marie was active in the church and asked that in lieu of flowers, a collection be taken for future masses in her name.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
