But a few People persisted
While the Powers resisted

“What’s in it for me?”

The proper use of trash
Was far superior to methane.
Still the powers that be,
while they waited to learn,
expressed loud concern
for the unfortunates in Bovoni
Understanding the question
The experts departed
leaving da People without power

Likely to simmer forevermore
