Marilyn Maria Hypolite was born on the island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, to Anna Irish & John Williams. Marilyn Hypolite passed away on July 22, 2024, in Hollywood, Florida. She was 89 years old.

She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Petersen, Francine DeLande, Barbara Hall and son Steven Williams; Grandchildren: Cochava & Mayana Branigan, David, Daniel, Dean & Dana DeLande, Amber & Audra Hall, Theresa, Shakema & Timothy Williams, Ann Marie Edwards, Stephani Pemberton, Peter C. Edwards, Paula & Isaiah Purifory, Steven Christopher, Lavern D. Arnold and Jenee Charles; Great Grandchildren: Naomi Varas, Karina, Kaili & Lucas Edwards, DeVante, DaReone, DeOndre, DeMarqi & DaMionE Christopher, JyNorah & Noah Pemberton, Jaysean Charles, Jamaira & Jaisen Moore, KaMiya Middleton, Christian Sweeney, Isaiah, Aliyah, Joshua, Keiana, Michael, Isaac, Dayla, KaLiyah, Kymani, Kiniyah, J’Dyn, Kaemora, & Mahki, DeLande, Aniyah & Azriyel Purifory, T’naejah & Zahkai Williams, Ahmani Nibbs, Robert Jr & Arieyah Legrand, Azarayah Johannes, Therell Hall III, Micah & Josiah Gandy-Thomas; Great-Great Grandchildren: Samuel Rivera Jr, Zayn & Cole Johnson; Cousin: Chester Williams (Cousin and Dearest Friend), other friends and family too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13th, at the Church of God of Prophecy, 171 Richmond. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
