Hugh Anthony Pemberton, also known as “Mr. P,” of Estate Judith’s Fancy transitioned died on March 2. He was 76 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Allen; and father, Cyril Pemberton.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Pemberton; daughters: Debra Sarauw and Jenissa Pemberton; son, Rolston Pemberton; grandchildren: Tamara Pemberton, Keryn Sarauw, Nicklas Pemberton, Dayna Sarauw, Qadamawi Archibald, Zaire Archibald, Zalika Archibald, Ava Pemberton and Kezia Archibald; great-grandchildren: Zayla Pemberton and Zayden Smith; sisters: Eugene Warner, Erma Pemberton, Venetta Solelyn, Hazel Davis, Sonia Somerall and Sandra Wallace; and brothers: Patrick Pemberton, Charles Pemberton and Otney Evans.
He is also survived by nieces: Nicole Cannonier, Rennell Callendar-Noel, Kishima Garcia, Ghauna Augustin, Gistel Estridge, Melissa Pemberton, Chazeem Pemberton, Cho Cho Pemberton, Kevia Pemberton, Shelisa Springette, Tabbitha Browne, Sonia Grant, Lorna Rouse, Shantel Davis, Nicole Cannonier, Teresa Mallory and Aungel Watkins; nephews: Deverson Warner, Nellon Pemberton, Calvin Pemberton, Ricky Davis, Oseert Grant, Sulphea Grant, Sean Grant, Ricky Grant, Royston Browne and Mavrick Browne; daughter-in-law, Claudia Pemberton; and sons-in-law: Kareem Sarauw and Dameon Archibald.
Other survivors include brothers-in-law: Robert Warner and Alpheus Solelyn; sister-in-law, Sheila Pemberton; special friends: Terrance Morris, Oral Martin, Author Martin, Dennis Clarke, Wingrove and Morline Lynton, Ornette and Nester Loquorbone, Vincent Jeffers also known as “Inky,” Clement Hewlett and much more too numerous to mention; cousins and other relatives: Emelda Browne, Patricia Williams, Trevor Duberry, Angela Laping, Andrew Duberry, Ivor Duberry, Irose Rogers, Ira Bowry, Fitzroy Delacoudray, Leslie Duberry, Eileen Aubin and Paula Buchanan; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, at Sunny Isles Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
