VIWMA Updates St. Thomas Solid Waste Collection Schedule

Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) announces the updated weekly St. Thomas solid waste collection schedule, which will go into effect on Monday, Feb. 26, as follows:

LOCATION/ OLD SCHEDULE/ NEW SCHEDULE

Education Street Monday, Wednesday and Friday/ Wednesday

Department of Finance Monday through Friday/ Tuesday through Friday

Inspector General Office Monday through Friday/ Tuesday through Friday

Government Offices in Sub Base (Public Works, School Lunch Program, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Property and Procurement)

Monday through Friday/ Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Lindberg Bay House-to-House Daily/ Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Kirwan Terrace Housing Community Daily/ Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

V.I. Port Authority Homes (Lindberg) Daily/ Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

V.I. Police Department (Special OPS) Daily/ Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Smith Bay (Only public carts on the road, East of Petrus Gas Station) Once Daily/ Twice Daily (a.m. and p.m.)

The Waste Management Authority thanks the community for its patience and cooperation during this transition.

Please call 712-4962 (St. Croix) or 715-9100 to report any illegal dumping, sewage overflow or
