We From Upstreet Inc. will host a Cancer Support Group monthly meeting, beginning on Saturday, Feb. 10. It will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and the session will take place at the Celestino A. White Senior Residential Home Community Center, 2nd floor.
This first meeting, entitled “Self-Love,” will be an introduction to the host, Dilsa Capdeville, chairperson of the organization’s Health and Wellness Committee. She will inform the participants of exciting plans for every meeting.
Admission is free and all are encouraged to attend and share their challenges and triumphs with others who may be needing support and encouragement. This will also be a great opportunity to learn from medical professionals about the latest in resources available as well as medicinal, herbal and holistic approaches to combat cancer.
