Naomi Beatrice Joseph Dies at 74

Naomi Beatrice Joseph

Naomi Beatrice Joseph, also known as “Christophine” or “Ms. Joseph,” of Estate Calquohoun, died on Nov. 20. She was 74 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Wynter and Iris Beatrice James; spouse, Alwyn Llewellyn Joseph; and sister, Yvonne Joyce.

She is survived by her daughters: Michele Wynter and Laura Solomon; son, Duranie Joseph; grandchildren: Krystal Wynter, Danielle Christian, Nia Augustus and Mekhi Joseph; sisters: Florence Olivet Henry, Fernella Lewis, Judith Wynter, Verna Hodge and Iris Salmon; nieces: Janet Wynter, Fernella and Enroy Hodge, Kerry Warren, Laurie Brown, Anthea Charles-Njoku, Melinda Wynter, Maureen Hazelwood, Ernestine Abraham, Corneta Smith, Judith Clark and Derene Henry; nephews: Jace and Gary Edwards, Ian Joseph, Noel Wynter, Wesley Warren, Craig, Jason, Peskey and Mickey Josiah; uncle, Richard James; brother-in-law, Gladstone Simon; sisters-in-law: Angela Cumberbatch and Cora De Nully; godchildren: Donalie Andrew and Desiree Merrick; cousins and other relatives: Agnes Simon and family, Cecil and Sonia Smith, Elsa Tonge and family, Janice Bambie, Ronald James, Thelma Wildeman, Carlene / Samuel (Dave) Solomon and family, Norma Browne and family, Sonia Roberts and family,

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, followed by a funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
