Effective immediately, students of the Ricardo Richards Elementary School on St. Croix will be dismissed early due to a gaseous odor in the area, the V.I. Education Department announced just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The health and safety of students and faculty is a priority for the VIDE, the release stated. The matter will be investigated, it said. Parents are asked to pick up students. Bus services will begin at 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided to students.
