Anthony Clement George Dies at 64

Anthony Clement George

Anthony Clement George, also known as “Tony, Mitch” and “Mitchigan,” of Estate Profit transitioned into eternal life Aug. 15. He was 64 years old.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Turner; father, Victor George.; brothers: Desmond McMaster, Bernard Matthew and Denfield George.

He is survived by his companion, Medelicia “Mayjay” Rivera; daughters: LaToya George, Sophia George and Rasheema George; sons: Nadja George and Steveroy George; grandchildren: Caden Joseph, Lathan Matthew, Sapphire George, Samara George, Calynn Joseph, Hope and Nadya George; sisters: Muriel George, Juliemae George, Gloria George and Esther Daniel; and brothers: Rodney George and Marlon George.

He is also survived by nieces: Kesha Joseph, Ateeka, Aneika and Chelsea Daniel, Camille McMaster-Brumfield, Desliah, Chelsea and Shamond McMaster, and Doris Peters; nephews: Kenta and Cheavorne Joseph, Raul and Carl Peters, and Michael Matthew; great nieces: Saraia Smith, Abegale Peters, Laila Brumfield and Abegale Peter; and great nephews: Jahmaine Joseph and Caleb Peters.

Other survivors include aunt, Ionie Simon; uncles: Lester Turner and Carlton George; brother-in-law, Alison Daniel; sister-in-law, Iola McMaster; godchild, Joel Charles; special friends: Gary “Flour Dan” Thomas, Richard Allen, Colbourne family, Geen Charles, Scott Gilbert, St. Croix Gas Company family, Natalie Williams, Rovers and Africa Soccer Team and Rebels and H&H Cricket Team Players, Moses and the St. Thomas Gas Company Crew; cousins and other relatives: Leon, Lawrence, Tafari, Samuel, Avondale, Chris, Brenda, Carlton, Elvis and Norma George, Ian “Chubby” and Coralie George and family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 14, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
