Human Services SNAP/CASH Documents Are Due to Assure 2023 May Benefits

SNAP – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

SNAP/CASH clients who have received mail from the V.I. Department of Human Services’ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Offices about completing their recertification application, periodic report or letter requesting additional information need to pay attention to the due dates on each document received.

If the recertification application, periodic report or letter requesting additional information has not been received by the due dates, clients’ benefits would not be automatically uploaded to their card, and this may result in their case being closed.

For first-time applicants, ensure that your application packets are completed and that all required documents and signatures are included.
