Four Stunning Queens Will Vie for Title of Miss USVI

The Miss USVI Pageant introduces four amazing contestants who will compete for the Prestigious Miss USVI title at the Island Center of St. Croix on May 14.

The contestants this year are as follows: Brianna Mcsween, Miss Thatch Cay Contestant #1; Bianca Malone, Miss West Cay Contestant #2; Bria James, Miss Green Cay, Contestant #3 and Madison Ramsingh, Miss Turtledove Cay, Contestant #4.

The Miss USVI pageant Queens have a unique opportunity. This year multiple awards will be given, as well as international pageant opportunities based on their strengths and platforms. All contestants were born and raised in the Virgin Islands and have plans of representing the Virgin Islands while striving to bring the top four International crowns right to the shore of the V.I.

With the spotlight on the Virgin Islands at the International pageants, we have the unique opportunity to showcase Virgin Islanders and increase pageant tourism in the territory. Past Miss USVI queens are known in the community to continue their platforms into prestigious careers, as in the case of Sen. Marise James, Kim Boschulte, Jahneisha John, Esonica Veira, Aniska Tongue and many other phenomenal past Queens.

The goal of the Miss USVI organization is to restore the splendor of the Miss USVI pageant with dedication to the pageant with powerhouse contestants, large cultural showcases and continuous events.

Each contestant will have the advantage of many months to prepare for their respective international pageants with the assistance of designers, professionals, artists and historians to charge them up to become the well-rounded Queens that will land the top spots in the international arena. The months of preparation will not be used in vain. There is a recurring theme when speaking to former Queens dating way back to the eighties. Most wish they had more time to prepare and more funding than some of the larger countries competing. The Miss USVI organization plans to bridge this gap with constant fundraising efforts and sponsorships.

The Miss USVI pageant is sponsored by the USVI Department of Tourism and recently received sponsorship from Castle St. Croix, Island Castle, Apollo Legion, and many more sponsors that will be introduced soon. The goal is to allow the community to be involved in the process so they know how to support the contestants when they are abroad and involved in the many media challenges and competitions.
