The family of Everett Hansen informs the Virgin Islands public of his sudden passing on Dec. 17, 2022. Everett was born on April 12, 1968. He is known for serving as the assistant director, warden, assistant warden, chief and various other positions at the Bureau of Corrections of the Virgin Islands. He is also known as the owner of SOS Entertainment which provided DJ services to many official functions, weddings and various events throughout the territory.
He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett Hansen Sr.

Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 at Wesley Methodist Church in Anna’s Retreat. The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. with services following at 10 a.m. Interment will be cremation
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people make a donation to a local charity in honor of Everett Hansen.
