Man Dies in One-Vehicle Collision on Emancipation Drive

A man on St. Croix died Sunday in a one-vehicle collision, the V.I. Police Department reported.

A concerned citizen reported a one-vehicle accident and that a man was trapped inside the car to the 911 Emergency Call Center at 1:10 a.m. Sunday. The accident occurred on Emancipation Drive in the vicinity of Canebrake Apartments in Frederiksted, according to the police report.

The driver was identified as 36-year-old Juan Nales Jr. by next of kin, police said.
