Monique Maria Coumarbatch-Stewart Dies

Monique Maria Coumarbatch-Stewart

Monique Maria Coumarbatch-Stewart died on Oct. 10.

She is preceded in death by the following family members: father, Alfredo Coumarbatch; aunt, Norma Coumarbatch; great aunt, Eleanor Josiah; great uncle, Joseph Simmonds; grandmother, Gertrude Baptiste; and grandfather, Alturo Venzen.

She is survived by her son, Lee Andrew Stewart Jr.; mother, Janette Venzen Feracho; stepfather, Teddy Feracho; brothers:  Elroy ‘Zeke’ Coumarbatch, Denroy Coumarbatch, Michael Feracho, Malik Feracho, Teddy Feracho Jr., Ronald and Toure’ Feracho; sisters: Denise Coumarbatch, Michelle Coumarbatch and Natasha Feracho-Cooper; and sisters-in-law: Janice Coumarbatch, Shavon Feracho and Maaisha Feracho.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews: KhaDeem Coumarbatch, KhaSani Coumarbatch, Osiris Parikh, Jasmin Parikh, Maia Feracho, Michael Feracho Jr., Marina Feracho and Mckenzie Feracho; aunts: Majorie Claxton, Loretta Coumarbatch, Elmira Evans, Liliette Hodge, Valencia Lawson and Paula Venzen Paris; and uncles: Dean and Kenneth Baptiste, Wayne Claxton, Jimmy Venzen, Ivan, Lawrence, David Jr. Jira, Shakai, Cyril and David Coumarbatch, and Eugene Gumb.

Other survivors include godchild, Alyssa Gordon; and special friends: Jacklyn Nixon Herbert, Michelle Rub, Jennifer Green, Rick Murphy, Cathy Ayala, Sheron Maylor, Tom Heinlein, Deborah and John Anthony. Monique leaves behind many great aunts, great uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.

Viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Blyden Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.

Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory.
