81C Celebrates 2nd Anniversary; Exhibit Event to Feature Many Artists

81C is honored to announce the launch of “META”A collective exhibition of fine art.
An opening reception for the show will take place at 81C from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, Oct. 29, at 81C’s downtown location on Strand Gade in historic Charlotte Amalie.

Guests are encouraged to appear in optional creative, elegant attire. Drinks will be offered. Exhibiting artists will be present to engage with the crowd.

This event marks 81C’s two-year anniversary.

Show Description:

81C celebrates two years of operations in town with “META,” a group art exhibition of fine art, honoring the many artists who have shown work at the gallery in the past 730 days. Featuring photography, paintings and sculpture, “META” signifies a flourishing and dynamic arts community collaborating in historic Charlotte Amalie.

The show will feature Jared Shomo, Art Lafranchise, Juan Carlos Amador, Prea Bhandari, Iphe Petersen, Ieshia George, Toby Reed Wingate, Caryn Conaway, Barbara Young, WORM, Jasmine Lindquist, Kristin Forbes Mullane, Jenny Hawkes, Shem Matthew, Dominique Lezama, Jenny Hawkes and others.
