Swift Arrest Made in Stabbing Incident

A St. Thomas man was arrested on Saturday night for stabbing a man multiple times, police say.

Kelston Williams, 24, has been charged with assault and possession of a dangerous weapon. Officers were called to Estate Nadir on Saturday night, where a Black male had been stabbed multiple times about the body, allegedly by Williams, police said. The victim was transported to Schneider Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room for further treatment. 

The bail was set at $25,000. Williams could not post bail and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections, pending his advice of rights hearing, police said.
