Kwame Deshawn Jean Robert Forde, aka Sherry, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Orlando, Florida.

Kwame was preceded in death by his brother, Nathan E. Joseph Jr.

He is survived by his parents, Sonia D. Joseph and Linroy E. Forde Sr.; sister Sheneika Joseph-Riviere; brothers Linroy E. Forde Jr., and Rickeem “Skinny” Lake; girlfriend Kioshi Bennett; aunts Anesta James, Barbara Yvonne Christian, Avilda Augustin and Diane James, Goldine Forde Smith, Veronica Forde, Wilda Forde, Sylvanie Forde and Latoy Forde; uncles Mario and Valerio Christian, Joseph James, John D. Briscoe and Duval O. Briscoe, Cubbert “Cabby” Forde, Filmore Forde and Leon Forde; nieces and nephews Natalie Na’Keria Joseph, Nathan E. Joseph III, Destini J.A. Jones, Jahnilah, Jahmyra, Authumn Briele Forde, and Linroy E. Forde III; best friends Alexandra Cappucci, Akeem Stevens, Jerry Cole (JC), Najari Heywood, Cameron Scott and family, Christopher Wells, Charles Vallarde and Randell Dubois; special and close cousins Asha, Ashley, Quana, Rakeem, Sylvester, Antoine, Jason, Jahlequah and Zaniyah; other cousins too numerous to mention; godparents Clara Santos, Ermine Bazil, Joycelyn Heat, Linda Davis, Calvin Whyte  and Charlie Ferris; special close family and friends Antoine Cuencas, Shante Encarnacion, Kyla Lindsey, Karise Pedro, O’raine Pollard, Asha Briscoe and family, Sylvester, Rakeem, Rose and John Briscoe Jr., Omar, Jason John, Lavern Brown, and family, Nikima Simon and family, Kymn Bazil and family, Larry, Tedroy, Balla, Kayla Lindsey, Nesha, Kyat, JC, Joann, Josiah, Des’tiny Josiah, Miracel and O’seii Josiah, Yvette Pollock, Willie, Marcus, Latanya Clarke, Drizzy, Dolla, Tyree, Cadillac Will, Hype, Blove, Kamiria, Killah Ranks, Cubby, Mellow, Chucky, Shareem, PS4 and GTF family, and other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Kwame’s going home celebration will be held at Refuge Tabernacle, located at #295 Estate Grove Place, Frederiksted, Virgin Islands on Thursday, June 16, 2022. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. and the celebration service will immediately follow at 10 a.m.
