V.I. Parole Board Releases Hearing Results

Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections

The Virgin Islands Parole Board advises the public that it has reviewed four parole applications during December 2021 and has determined the following in accordance with the requirements of the V.I. parole statute, 5 V.I.C. §§ 4601-4606:

Abdul Pemberton Possession of an unlicensed firearm Parole Granted

Stephanie Ziegler Negligent Homicide Parole Denied

Shawn Akeem Joseph Voluntary Manslaughter Parole Denied

Jahzeel Fenton First Degree Assault/Domestic Violence Parole Denied

During the continuation of the December 2021 parole hearing held on January 13, 2022, the board has reviewed eight parole applications and has determined the following in accordance with the requirements of the V.I. parole statute, 5 V.I.C. §§ 4601-4606:

Nicholas Albert First Degree Murder (while a minor)/Escape from Jail Parole Denied

Jahmal Todman Possession of a Firearm in a School Zone Parole Denied

Josiah Hodge Second Degree Murder/unauthorized possession of a firearm Parole Denied
