Crucian Christmas Festival Adult Parades 2002, 2003, 2004: A Look Back in Visuals

The Adult Parades are held the first week of January every year. For many years the Festival was in Frederiksted one year and Christiansted the next. The 50th Anniversary Parade was held in Christiansted in 2003.

Through the years many groups, floupes, troupes and bands have participated. A staple throughout has been Guardians of Culture Moko Jumbies. During the boom years of Hovensa, the parades were hours long and full of competition, color and sound.

In recent years Hurricanes Irma and Maria and COVID-19 have impacted the Christmas season celebrations. Enjoy this look back. Perhaps someone you know is pictured.
