Abdu M. English, also known as “Buddah,” of Candido Guadalupe Terrace, Christiansted, St. Croix, died on Sept. 9. He was 44 years old.
He was preceded in death by his godmother, Christina Benjamin.
He is survived by his mother, Amalia Annel; father, Allan English; sons: Jahshan D. English and Kwame English; sisters: Charmaine Albert, Clemencia Clercent, Shakira Annel and Ashanna Annel; brothers: Leon Annel, Anthony Francis and Marious Annel; eight nieces; 15 nephews; three great nieces; one great nephew; aunts: Lucia Barker and Alicia Barker; uncles: Herman Heywood, Helman Barker and Douglas Barker; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, at Kingshill Cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and public health regulations, all attendees must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
