Man Charged in STT Department Store Burglary

Officers of the V.I. Police Department at 9:38 p.m. Saturday arrested David Schaffner, a 38-year-old of no fixed address, and charged him with third-degree burglary in the burglary of Island Linen Department Store, located on Kronprindsens Gade.

According to police, Schaffner was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections after failing to post $25,000 bail, pending his advice of rights hearing
