Local Track & Field Meets Continue

VITFF is finalizing negotiations with AAU Track & Field to have the VI National Track & Field Championships designated as an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) district qualifier. This will allow athletes in the territory to qualify to the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Junior Olympics to be held in Texas this year. The AAU has been helping to develop champions since 1888 and hundreds of university coaches attend or follow closely the AAU Junior Olympics to recruit athletes from all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
