Health and Human Services Gives Grant to Medical Sciences at UVI

Congresswoman Stacey E. Plaskett, a member of the Ways and Means Committee, released the following statement announcing a $273,160 grant for the University of the Virgin Islands:

“I am happy to announce that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded a grant of $273,160 for the University of the Virgin Islands. The grant will help with developing a culture of biomedical research at the university. The type of award is a high impact research and research infrastructure cooperative agreement program award.”
