Department of Tourism is Livestreaming ‘1 Night, 1 Fete’ Friday

A musical celebration, “1 Night, 1 Fete,” which is being held Friday at the West Indian Company Ltd. dock on St. Thomas, will be livestreamed at 7 p.m. AST.

The stream of the event, which is being presented by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism’s Division of Festivals, will be available at usvifestivals.vi and facebook.com/USVIFestivals. Online participants can also join the virtual session via Zoom. (Meeting ID: 494 709 9342; Password: 1N1FSTT21).

The session features top U.S. Virgin Islands musical groups Cool Session Brass, Legacy Band and Spectrum Band, as well as Trinidadian soca star Farmer Nappy.

The live event will seat 200 vaccinated patrons and comply with COVID-19 protocols, including physical distancing, mask-wearing and proper hand-washing hygiene.

Proceeds from the event will go towards relief efforts for the people and government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who have been adversely impacted by La Soufrière volcano eruptions.
