STX Woman Charged with Burglary and Assault

At about 10:52 p.m., Thursday, officers of the V.I. Police Department arrested Rebekah Kelly, age 25 of Estate Work & Rest, charging her with first-degree burglary/domestic violence, destruction of property and aggravated assault and battery.

According to police. Kelly broke into her boyfriend’s residence, assaulted him, and damaged his property.

She was not offered bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence laws. She was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections, pending her advice of rights hearing.
