In the past 10 months, the close-knit V.I. community has lost 24 members to COVID-19. These are not statistics; they are people with family and friends, aspirations, accomplishments, beliefs, struggles, successes, likes and dislikes.
As a service to the community, the Source wants to honor their lives by publishing a series of profiles, but we need your help to do that. If you lost a family member to the pandemic and you think you might like to see him/her included in these profiles, please send an email to editor@visource.com. Just state you are interested in the “Remembering . . . ” project and include your name and a phone number. We’ll contact you with details and you can decide then whether you want to participate.
The Virgin Islands Police Department is looking for 23-year-old Tarik Babrow in connection with a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday, March 2, on Veteran’s Drive, near the Cancryn Bridge.
