Marilyn Theresa Brooks Tutein, age 86, died on Oct. 20, at UF Shands Hospital, Gainesville, Florida. She was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Christiansted, Saint Croix.
Marilyn Tutein is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Vargrave Owen Tutein of Gainesville, Fla.; daughters: Ivy Marie Tutein of Gainesville, Fla. and Madelyn Brooks of San Juan, Puerto Rico; granddaughter, Keturah Bailey (Winoc) of Gainesville, Fla.; and a grandson and cousins in New York.
A walk-through viewing will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at A. Jerome Brown Funeral Home 25284 W US Hwy. 27, High Springs, Fla. 32643. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Alzheimer and Dementia Research or Altrusa House of Gainesville.
