Police Investigate Shots Fired in Area of Krondprindsens Gade

The V.I. Police Department on Monday was investigating a report of shots being fired in the area of Krondprindsens Gade near Simmonds Alley in Charlotte Amalie.

At about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 21, the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Krondprindsens Gade in reference to a report of reckless endangerment – the discharging of shots – with possible injuries.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to an unidentified male who stated that he was injured, but does not know who did it. He was transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Police urged anyone with any information on the incident to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 extension 5608, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
