Crimes Stoppers USVI, the anonymous tip service, is putting the spotlight on a pair of fatal shootings, on St. Thomas and St. Croix.
ST. THOMAS: At about 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019, the Major Crime Unit was notified about a shooting that had occurred at the Banana Split Bar on St. Thomas. The gunshot victim was transported via ambulance to Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment. The victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds about his body and succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified by next of kin as Francois Champagne.
ST. CROIX: On Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, a man identified as Randy Stickle, a resident of Ohio, was shot multiple times about his body and succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred in the Golden Rock area on St. Croix.
