The V.I. Police Department arrested Damon C. John, 48 of Estate Whim on St. Croix, as part of the department’s drug and guns crime initiative.
According to the police report, at about 10:44 p.m. Sept. 9, police were conducting a traffic stop at Upper Love when officers found John with a firearm, marijuana and drug paraphernalia
He was charged with carrying an unlicensed firearm openly or concealed and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
