Governor Extends ‘Stay at Home’ Order Until Sept. 8

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on Saturday morning that he will sign an executive order extending the territory’s current “Stay at Home” order designed to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

According to a news release from Government House, the restrictions under the current “Stay at Home” order were set to expire at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31. Bryan’s new order will extend those restrictions an additional week, to 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The governor is expected to provide additional details during his next weekly Coronavirus update at 1 p.m. Monday, Government House said in its news release.
