Virgin Islands Department of Human Services

The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services notifies those who receive ongoing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Cash Assistance; Temporary Assistance to Needy Families; or Aid to the Aged, Blind and Disabled, and are due to recertify in August that their certification period has been extended for six months.

Please disregard any “Notice of Expiration” you may have received in the mail for an appointment this month. You do not need to call or visit the SNAP Offices. Your benefits will be automatically uploaded to your card on the first of September.
