Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel platform, announced the winners of its 18th annual Travelers’ Choice Awards and named Secret Harbour Beach Resort in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands as one of the top 10 percent of hotels in the world. Secret Harbour has won the Tripadvisor award of excellence for 10 consecutive years. In 2019, it was also recognized by Forbes as “1 in 5 top resorts in USVI” and by Travel Awaits as one of the “Best Luxury Resorts on St. Thomas.”

The coveted Tripadvisor Travelers Choice award celebrates travelers’ favorite hotels, restaurants and airlines around the world. Winners are calculated based on the quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions and ratings collected on Tripadvisor in 2019, prior to the pandemic. With over 8.7 million businesses listed on Tripadvisor, these awards are a testament to the service and quality that winners consistently provide to their guests.

Javier De La Rosa, the resort’s general manager, said that Secret Harbour Beach Resort is “honored to receive this award of excellence” and to be ranked in the top 10 percent of hotels worldwide on Tripadvisor. “We are committed to maintaining our focus on quality, superb customer service and trust to provide a memorable beach vacation where couples and families can relax and have fun at the beach. It is our staff that makes the difference!”

Secret Harbour is an expansive and tranquil beach resort on the southeast end of St. Thomas. It features 64 spacious condominium-style villas, open-air casual and fine dining restaurants, a water sports center, dive shop, tennis court, pool, grocery delivery, on-site restaurant delivery and more.
