STX Man Charged with Burglary

A 49-year-old St. Thomas Man, Allen Springette, was arrested Saturday by the V.I. Police Department and charged in a June 28 burglary.

According to police, the arrest took place at about 7:15 p.m. July 11.

Springette was arrested in reference to a burglary that occurred June 28 at Percy’s Bus Stop on Veterans Drive, police said. He was apprehended in the Fort Christian Parking lot and placed under arrest.

He was charged him with third-degree burglary and petit larceny.

Bail for Springette was set at $25,000. Unable to post bail, he was turned over to the custody of

the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
